STUDIO HULMI
Ateljee Hulmi operates in the old cowhouse of Hulmi Farm,
built in 1888 and made of brick. In 1963 the building
was taken into use as a grain store. In 1987 the house was
renovated and now serves as a jeweller's workshop and
studio, and art gallery.The splendid renovation of the house was planned by Antti
Pirhonen, architect SAFA.The loft gallery can be rented out for periods of days,
weekends or weeks, or for a full month.Serving of meals and coffee or tea can be arranged by
order.In the studio's spacey ground floor premises there
is a permanent exhibition of numerous jewellery
items and small sculptures, all unique or made
in small series only. The jewellery and sculpture
are designed by Elina Kinnunen.Designer jewellery and objects of art, manufacture
and sale, items made to order. Lapidary work for
goldsmiths and other customers (their own stones
also), small casting series, business gifts, badges
for societies and associations, etc.Finnish gemstones are our speciality.
